Brand New Aerolite103 ultralight aircraft with zero hours. Built August 2019. This was a custom/change order which was built and test flown for 30 minutes at the factory in DeLand Florida. We added and changed a few things (including an engine upgrade) to make it a more suitable videography platform for high altitude rocky mountain performance. It is now in a storage facility, partially disassembled. This is not a kit. I am selling it because I have medical problems.
In mountainous areas out west the low-and-slow enjoyment of ultralight flying can be hindered by concerns such as takeoffs and landings at 7000' or higher and with temperatures in the 100s. This machine is capable of well over 10,000ft altitude and climbs at 800 to 1100 feet per minute.
This Aerolite is fitted with the 50hp Hirth 23 engine with Electronic Fuel Injection that adjusts automatically to any elevation and/or temperature (density altitude). Full power is always available and carburetors are eliminated. The images below are accurate except that the engine was changed out.
The aircraft has been aerodynamically cleaned up with wheel pants and fairing covers and should easily cruise at 65 mph
If built in Florida with the Hith23 engine and with EFI it is an eight month wait (they will not tell you this) and transportation out west is about $3000. So you can see this is a special aircraft not available anywhere in the mountain states and hard to get even in Florida where they make them.

The panel above is custom in that I wanted an electronic engine monitoring computer and a steam gauge ASI (there is also a hall-effect air speed indicator out-board of the craft). As for the EIS click on the link above and study. It is a cylinder and exhaust heat monitor which is very important with in a two cycle engine.
Note that wheel skirts have been removed to fit it in the trailer.
The outside width without the skirts is 80 inches.
The height is 77 inches.
